May 26th through June 15th, 2025
20at20 (the bi-annual celebration of Off Broadway) is back! The popular promotion, which begins Monday, May 26th and continues through Sunday, June 15th, makes $20 tickets for participating Off Broadway plays and musicals available to theatre-goers twenty minutes prior to curtain. For more than a decade, 20at20 has become one of New Yorkβs most eagerly-anticipated promotions for budget-conscious theatre-goers.
How it works: Tickets can be purchased at each showβs box office, starting 20 minutes prior to the performance time. Some venues (such as New World Stages) will put up signage saying β20at20 Line Starts Hereβ so look for a sign at the theater (or ask the box office where the 20at20 line forms). These $20 promotional tickets are only from 5/26 to 6/15 and must be paid in cash ($20 ea). Some venues will charge a facility fee of up to $2.50.
20at20 is presented by The Off-Broadway Alliance (OBA), a non-profit corporation organized by theater professionals dedicated to supporting, promoting, and encouraging the production of Off-Broadway theater and making live theater increasingly accessible to new and diverse audiences. The Alliance holds monthly meetings and membership is open to everyone in the Off-Broadway theater community. Among its initiatives, The Off Broadway Alliance sponsors a free Seminar Series focusing on the culture, business, and history of Off Broadway featuring major players from the Off-Broadway scene. The OBA created the Off Broadway Economic Impact Report, which details Off Broadwayβs over $500 million annual impact on the economy of the City of New York.β More info: offbroadwayalliance.com
20at20 Terms and Conditions: All tickets are subject to availability. Restrictions may apply. Offer valid only at the box office on the day of the performance twenty minutes prior to curtain. Offer may be revoked at any time. Not valid on prior sale. Cannot be combined with other offers. Valid May 26th through June 15th, 2025. Cash only at all venues. THE IMAGINARY INVALID
Monsieur Argan is a notorious hypochondriac whose nonexistent illnesses blind him to the con men and women (his new wife) who prey on his fears to fatten their purses. His plan: marry his daughter to a doctor so he'll have free round-the-clock on-site healthcare for the rest of his life. Newly translated by Mirabelle Ordinaire and adapted for Red Bull by Jeffrey Hatcher, THE IMAGINARY INVALID is a brilliant satire of doctors, lawyers, and would-be patients who take self-care to staggering levels of pathological solipsism. A comic whirlwind of pills, lovers, therapies, disguises, vaccinations, impersonations, masks, mindfulness and miracle cures.
THE OFFICE! A MUSICAL PARODY
The beloved mockumentary reaches a new level of laughs with The Office! A Musical Parody. Fans of the television series will be happy to know that all their favorite characters are on board, as are some key plot elements. When the original British version of The Office premiered in 2001, it brought something completely new to television comedy. Sure, sitcoms had lampooned office culture before, but never with the cringe-inducing level of awkwardness that creators Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant allowed their characters to display. Then the American Office became an enormous hit series -- and a comedy landmark. In the hands of writers Bob and Tobly McSmith, the stage version adds an unexpected tuneful touch that takes things to another place entirely, and the outrageousness lives on.
